About AnyResizer
AnyResizer is a free collection of image tools that run entirely in your browser. Resize, convert, compress, crop, rotate, blur — every tool works without uploading a single file to a server. This page explains who we are, why we built it this way, and what we stand for.
Our Mission
Most online image tools ask you to upload your photos to a stranger's server, wait in a queue, and trust that your files are deleted afterward. We thought that was backwards. Modern browsers are powerful enough to resize and convert images on their own — so we built AnyResizer to do exactly that, instantly and privately, for free. Our mission is simple: give everyone fast, no-nonsense image tools that respect their files and their privacy.
Privacy by Design
Privacy is not a feature we added — it is the architecture. Because every tool runs locally using WebAssembly and the Canvas API, your images never leave your device. There are no upload endpoints, no file storage, and no servers that touch your photos. You can open your browser's Network tab and confirm it: processing an image produces zero outbound requests carrying your file. Your data stays yours.
How the Tools Work
When you drop a file into a tool, your browser reads it into memory and processes it on the spot using the same kind of compiled image engines that desktop software uses, delivered as WebAssembly. The result is generated locally and saved straight to your device. Because there is no server roundtrip, tools are fast, work after the first load even offline, and never queue behind other users.
Free and Open
AnyResizer is free to use for personal and commercial work, with no signup, no watermark, and no upsell. We keep the site lean and fast, support 10 languages, and add new tools regularly. There are no hidden tiers gating the features you actually need.
