Image converter β€” convert any image format, free, in your browser

Drop an image. Pick a target format. Get the file back instantly β€” no upload, no signup, no watermark.

Drop images to convert

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG Β· up to 50 files Β· 100 MB each

One tool, every common image format

Most converters make you upload first, then convert, then download. AnyResizer skips the upload β€” the file stays on your device, decoded by an in-browser image engine. The convert step starts the moment you drop the file.

The hub covers the formats designers and developers actually need: JPG and PNG for compatibility, WebP and AVIF for modern web compression, HEIC for iPhone photos, GIF for animation, BMP and TIFF for legacy uses, plus SVG raster export. Lossless toggle for WebP and AVIF, alpha-fill picker for any target that lacks transparency.

Drop one image to convert it on the spot. Drop fifty for a batch β€” everything ships back as a ZIP, named the way you expect.

Features

Every format in one place

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG. Read and write the formats people actually use.

Lossless or tuned

Quality slider for lossy formats. Lossless toggle for WebP and AVIF. Strip metadata for tighter files.

Browser-side, by default

Conversion happens on your device. Files never reach a server, never reach a queue. Verify in DevTools.

Real reasons people switch formats

iPhone photos for a non-Apple recipient

Convert HEIC to JPG so anyone on Windows, Android, or older software can open the photo.

Web-ready WebP for a faster blog

Drop a folder of JPG and PNG, output WebP at quality 80 β€” typical 25–35% size cut, no visible quality drop.

AVIF camera dump to JPG for older tools

Some workflows still cannot read AVIF. Re-encode to JPG with one click β€” no software install.

Flatten a transparent PNG for a print job

Pick a fill color, convert PNG to JPG, send to the print shop. Live preview of the flattened result.

SVG icon to PNG at exact size

Rasterize an SVG at the exact pixel dimensions a CMS needs, with PNG transparency preserved.

Email attachment that slips under the cap

Convert a stack of PNG screenshots to JPG quality 80 β€” smaller file, same readability.

Built for everyday conversion

  • Quality slider with sensible defaults β€” 80 for most formats, 90 for photos
  • Alpha-flatten picker surfaces only when the target format would drop transparency
  • Strip-metadata toggle defaults on β€” smaller files, less leaked location data
  • Per-item progress so one bad file does not abort the batch

How to convert image format in three steps

  1. Drop your image

One file or fifty. Folder drag-and-drop works too.

  2. Pick the target format

Choose JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, or ICO. Adjust quality, toggle lossless, set a fill color if transparency would be lost.

  3. Download the result

Single file saves directly. Batches land as a ZIP with consistent filenames.

Tips for clean conversions

  1. Tip 1:

Quality 80 is the sweet spot for photos in JPG, WebP, and AVIF. Push to 90 if you see banding in skies or skin.

  2. Tip 2:

Strip metadata is on by default. It removes EXIF camera data, GPS coordinates, and ICC profiles β€” a privacy win and a few KB saved.

  3. Tip 3:

Going from a transparent PNG to JPG burns the transparency to a flat color. Pick the fill color before you convert.

  4. Tip 4:

WebP and AVIF have true lossless modes. Toggle lossless when pixel-perfect output matters more than file size.

  5. Tip 5:

Animated GIF flattens to its first frame when the target is JPG or PNG. Keep GIF as GIF if motion matters.
